Principal and Owner of Allison Smith Interiors

Allison grew up near Providence, Rhode Island. She attended F.I.T. in New York City. After a several year hiatus from design while rearing her two children, she and her husband Jerry decided to make the major move down to the Carolinas to be close to family. After extensive planning, Allison hired Gabrielle Builders to construct a  customized Nantucket inspired house on Lake Keowee. “The process was spectacular, it was a truly wonderful experience. I could not have been more pleased. I want people to know that building your dream home doesn't have to be a stressful experience.” Soon afterwards, the Smiths purchased a home in Greenville as well.  "I knew it was time to go back to work, so I decided to open up a second location of a high end design store offering gift items, furniture and design services. I certainly learned a lot about retail through this endeavor and I enjoyed the experience, but my heart is truly in design”.  And so,  the decision was made to open Allison Smith Interiors, a full service interior design firm.

Allison loves to collaborate with clients, and her lasting professional relationships are owed to a blend of skillful design, communication, and trust. She has the unique ability to truly connect with her clients and give each and every one of them the personal attention they deserve.
