Founding Member of Allison Smith Interiors
Patricia Brennan grew up in the sunny panhandle of Florida. She headed north to attend Emory University where she graduated with a degree in Economics and Art History, eventually moving up to the Carolinas in 2002. “I did not find design, it found me. Early on, while I was a stay at home mom with my three children, my intent was to create a happy and comfortable home for them and in the process I grew a following of friends and family requesting design help. Later, my wholesale design career heavily intertwined with the nationwide market network so I was never at a loss for access to great products to achieve their reworks. As an Art Director I was responsible for creating original home décor products that fit seamlessly into the American home. To do my job well, I had to study good design, research trends, understand color and lighting and experiment with textures. In the process, I fell completely in love with interior design.” She has an invitingly optimistic and energetic personality which contributes to her success.
“Design is something I contemplate in everything I do. I have a deep love of home. I seek a beautiful blending of comfort and proportion for my clients. I find the journey of helping others create surroundings that tell their unique story an extremely rewarding career.”
She has most recently spent several years managing a luxury home décor and interior design store in Greenville, South Carolina until the decision was made to spin off a design-only firm. Previously, Patricia was the lead Project Manager and Art Director for a boutique textile manufacturer in North Carolina specializing in customized luxury home décor.
